Through innovative musical arrangements and experiments that transcend genre boundaries, DUOBUD presents creative music that preserves the unique elements of Korean traditional music while expanding the possibilities inherent in traditional instruments and genres, blending improvisational elements into a diverse and non-conforming repertoire. After winning the grand prize at the Jeonju Int’l Sori Festival, they have been playing at the world renowned festivals and venues, such as Babel Med Music, Golden Melody Awards, Ritmo Festival, SXSW, World Sacred Spirit Music Festival, the national Kaosiung center for the arts, Abu Dhabi Arts, Kings Place London, and the national theater of Korea.
