QUEBEC ON STAGE

Quebec on stage

What is “Quebec on stage”?

The term “Quebec on stage” refers to the banner that brings together about ten collective export missions organized by CINARS each year to support performing arts companies and agencies. The Quebec on stage missions are divided into two types:

Collective Missions / Markets Multidisciplinary performing arts markets

To promote Quebec productions abroad and to build and strengthen relationships with presenters, CINARS teams up with agents and representatives from Quebec companies every year to organize a series of joint attendance at some of the key conferences under the banner Quebec on stage. Those missions enables Quebec participants to benefit from greater visibility, meet more presenters, cultivate a sense of mutual support with their peers, and to take part in conferences at a lower cost.

  • Events featuring exhibition booths
  • Market environments with a large number of professionals
  • Shared booths, quick presentations, networking events
  • Advantage: reduced costs

Familiarization Missions / Specialized Conferences or Festivals

The familiarization missions offered by CINARS allow a group of approximately five artists or companies to discover a major specialized festival or conference specific to their discipline. These missions offer the opportunity to enter a new network of professionals while benefiting from personalized support.

  • Often specialized festivals or conferences
  • Support approaches for artists and agencies developing new networks
  • Smaller, more specialized environments
  • Advantage: peer support and group synergy
