64 Spiritual Moments takes inspiration from Korean local area Hwanghaedo’s shaman ritual which is known for its most extreme performances among many Korean shaman rituals. It takes repetitive percussive traditional music from Korean shaman music and blends with techno. In this way, it depicts modern people like Koreans (especially Seoulites) working day and night to make ends meet or anyone living in modern society with strong aspirations.
