Cordâme, formed in Montreal in 2004, is a dynamic ensemble dedicated to the works of Jean Félix Mailloux. With 11 albums over 20 years, the group has become a key force in Quebec’s music scene. Cordâme has earned major recognition, including being a finalist for the 2018 RIDEAU Tour Award and the 2020 OPUS Prize for Jazz Concert of the Year. Their 6th album, Debussy Impressions, received glowing reviews, with the track “Plante Caméléon” airing on SIRIUS XM. Recent highlights include tours in Asia and the USA, as well as their acclaimed Satie Variations tour, which featured 60 performances across Quebec.
