Wahsipekuk: Beyond the Mountains is an interdisciplinary performance by Ivanie Aubin-Malo, co-initiated with Natasha Kanapé Fontaine in 2020, which takes the form of a renewed tale invoking the Giants, entities from different oral traditions of the Wabanakiak peoples. Performers on stage will be Ivanie Aubin-Malo and Mi’kmaq and Kanien’keha:ka violinist Julian Rice.
