Artistic Direction: Andrew Skeels
Andrew Skeels continues to establish himself as a choreographer of note with Past Rooms, a striking work for six performers that delves into the theme of absence with a dreamlike and emotional depth. Melding dance-theater and set to the evocative music of composer Julien Tarride, the piece portrays a woman grappling with insomnia, caught in a whirlwind of surreal nighttime visions. Past Rooms offers a poignant and intimate reflection on the profound impact of grief and loss.
