Ephemeral Artifacts is a tap dance show like no other. This dynamic production offers a journey through the evolution of jazz and tap centring the body as the site of pivotal narratives of our times. Featuring tap virtuoso Travis Knights, this work integrates music, video, sculpture, and storytelling, examining the dancer’s relationship to dance and dance’s relationship to history. his unique collaboration between co-choreographers Brandy Leary and Travis Knights is a love letter to dance, knowledge keepers, rhythm, resistance, subversion, and freedom.
