Artistic Direction: Myriam Allard et Hedi Graja
The latest piece from La Otra Orilla, DEBORDEMENTS, is a choreographic and sound-based work infused by Guy Debord’s words. It sits at the crossroads of flamenco language and punk philosophy. Created by Myriam Allard and Hedi Graja in collaboration with composer / performer Jonathan Parant on electric guitar and on stage, this new work sees the trio deliver a striking performance in which dance, music, words, the space, light and actions are revisited by multiple derivatives. An untamed production, it’s rooted in a cry, a common desire to speak up, a never-say-die vision of life. Spanish and French lyrics in the show.
