The CINARS Biennale
The international living arts gathering
A true crossroads for the performing arts, the CINARS Biennale offers a strategic showcase for artists and promotes the circulation of works around the world. Since 1984, CINARS has brought together performing arts professionals from around the world every two years in Montreal. For one week, performances, workshops, networking events, and conferences take place in the city's major cultural venues. Beyond its artistic programming, the Biennale is above all a space for sharing and dialogue, where lasting human connections are forged and concrete opportunities for international collaboration are created.

In 2024, we welcomed 1,379 participants, including:
- 340 exhibitors;
- 329 presenters;
- 234 observers;
- 476 artists.
Internationally focused, with 47 countries represented in 2024
And a multidisciplinary program of over 120 shows
We give a voice to circus, dance, theater, music, new writing, and multidisciplinary works.
