Canada (Québec) Dominique Fils-Aimé is a Juno and Felix award-winning singer-songwriter from Montreal and a two-time finalist of the prestigious Polaris Prize. A rising star in vocal jazz, she presents “Three Little Words”, the final chapter in her album trilogy that delves into the legacy of African American music. From the stripped-down blues tones on her debut album, to the jazz inflections of her second opus, the latest recording (released in February 2021) embraces the emotional lushness of soul music from the past to the present. On stage, whether in Canada, Europe or the United States, Dominique Fils-Aimé draws the listener in with her vocal swagger and radiant glow. Accompanied by four musicians on stage, she presents her songs in a continuous thread, drawing the audience into her universe. A deep and unique musical connection with the audience!
