Art Circulation is a non-profit organization that focuses its efforts on dissemination of its members’ artistic work, creating long lasting partnerships and collaborations nationally and worldwide.

At present three dance compagnies : maribé – sors de ce corps, Montréal Danse, le Carré des Lombes and independent artists : Katia-Marie Germain, George Stamos, Audrée Juteau and Marc Boivin are the members of the organization.

Art Circulation represents artists with strong and varied signatures, and atypical and diversified approaches: performances, performative and interactive installations, conceptual works and modifiable formats.

Right now there are several works ready to tour:

The dance company Le Carré des Lombes (Danièle Desnoyers) is currently touring “UNFOLD - 7 perspectives” and “Montréal-Marrakech” (in co-creation with Taoufiq Izeddiou). Both shows are contemporary dance shows, performed by the top dancers and fit for a black box.

Montréal Danse offers several shows focusing on installation forms. Right now, the “ready to tour” performances are : “All in All” - a triptych performative installation by Benoît Lachambre and several artists from Canada, Mexico and Lebanon; “Invisible” by Aurélie Pedron, a durational, ambient piece for 6 to 9 dancers, and “Radiomaton” - a “radio box”, installation where a member of audience can become a performer.

maribé - sors de ce corps with Marie Béland as the main choreographer makes a conceptual work, she is interested in information overload, putting the dancers in a constant exercise of presence. The work currently on tour is entitled "Beside".

Katia-Marie Germain, visual artist, as well as choreographer, constructs moving paintings, dance of objects, movement and light. Her work on tour are: “HABITER”, “CHAMBRES” and soon (November 2023), “MASCARADES”.

Audrée Juteau, interested in collective work and environmental questions, creates very colorful and abstract images and dances, together with Zoey N. Gould, Catherine Marcus-Lavoie and other collaborators. “Mystic Informatic”, ready to tour, will be followed by “Mystic Metallic”, in 2025.

George Stamos, with the hint of queerness but everlasting research on movement creates, recreates and multiplies scores, inviting different artists to work with him on a rhythm and phrasing - his touring pieces are “Recurrent Measures Deluxe” and “Nightlight”.

Finally, Marc Boivin presents a solo, “The Door Opened West”, storytelling, biographical, that connects memories to very personal but touching subjects close to all of us - family, aging, first love, death.
