Renowned as wonderful ambassadors of la Francophonie, the multi-award winning and highly acclaimed Le Vent du Nord is a leading force in Quebec’s progressive folk movement. Along with their terrific musicianship the band is now presenting Territoire, a new show based on their 10th album. The group’s vast repertoire draws from both traditional sources and original compositions, while enhancing it’s hard-driving soulful music (rooted in the Celtic diaspora) with a broad range of global influences. As quintet the band brilliantly connected Quebecois musical tradition to a larger musical world and in doing so have turned lost traditions into intense dynamic performance they've built their legend on.
