LABO is a circus experiment that explores the research for individual and collective identity through ensemble movements of 7 artists dressed identically. The costume is a white overall with a hoodie that looks like a pyjama, or an astronaut or scientist uniform. It is de-humanizing and ironically gives us access to universal human states. LABO reminds us of the dystopic universe of George Orwell, while proposing playfull and poetic living scenery composed of high level circus and physical theater. Show for small theater venues and chapiteau. Sylvain Bouillere - Roller Skating Pascal Duguay Gosselin - Cane Balancing Megan Leigh Rennels - Aerial Rope Eris D'Eir - Aerial Hoop Nicolas Zuaznabar - Cyr Wheel Giulia Scamarcia - Contortion Carlos Verdin Barba - Juggling Vincent Jutras - Outside eye/Outside eye Zoé St-Onge - Sound/lighting/light and sound Mishca Kopfuber - Photos Open to all participants of the CINARS 2022 Biennial Number of seats (per performance): 50 Shuttle service NOT included LABO is a perfect show for touring: the concept allows to move by plane only the technical director and the director. The artist team can be composed locally thanks to the large LABO family. Since 2018, artists from Europe (Italy, France, Germany) and America (Canada, USA, Mexico, Chile, Argentina) have collaborated on LABO creations. Adaptable in theaters with or without aerial, in a big top, LABO does not require any transport of scenery and can be installed and uninstalled very quickly.
