In a city where everything is a bit strange, magic is on the prowl and the moon forces the residents to sing. Through their stories about hunters and golden carp, four teenagers give us their humorous account of a year in which everything turned upside down. An indecisive girl who is having trouble accepting growing up, a romantic boy who lacks courage, a misunderstood witch, and a new boy who stirs up desire and jealousy are at the heart of this story of unrequited love, betrayal, and reconciliation. Despite the laws and curfews made by the grown-ups, these young heroes play and sing, showing the strength of their friendship and their desire to move forward together. Language of the performance: English Playwright: Jean-Philippe Lehoux Translation: Bobby Theodore Music & translation of lyrics: Ariane Bisson McLernon Direction: Sylvain Scott & Dominique Cuerrier Performers: Marie-Laurence Boulet, Joëlle Lanctôt, Jean-François Pronovost and Simon Rivest Costumes: Linda Brunelle Lighting: Luc Prairie Movement: Mélanie Demers Makeup & Wigs: Jean Bégin Technical direction: Jean Duchesneau
