CINARS 2016 Official Programming



The CINARS Biennale 2018 (November 12 to 17, 2018) Official Programming will feature selected full-length showcases as well as showcased excerpts of works in danse, music, theatre, multidisciplinary arts and circus. The call will be open from November 2017 to February 2018 to artists from all countries.

The CINARS Biennale is a not-to-be missed international networking event, it gathers more than 1500 performing arts professionals from 40 countries. During the six-day event, 150 performances part of the Official Programming and the OFF-CINARS will be presented in different cultural venues across Montreal.


To submit a proposal for the CINARS Biennale 2018 Official Programming, please follow these steps:

- Carefully read the policies of the Official Programing in the document you will find attached (the 2018 version will be online in November 2017)

- Look at the following video Guide that will help you properly fill out the application

Please provide the following items via the online application:

·      Letter of motivation from agent/representative

·      Written description of your show in French and/or in English (100 words max.)

·      Itinerary of past tours (last three years)

·      Itinerary of future tours

·      Technical rider of the show submitted in application

·      1-3 high resolution photos (300 dpi)

·      Video link of your show (Youtube or Vimeo) in full-length and/or in excerpted performances

·      Press reviews

·      Payment of a non-refundable CAD125 processing fee by cheque or PayPal


If selected to CINARS BIENNALE 2018, additional charges must be accounted for:

- Booth rental: Agents and representatives of selected artists must be registered at CINARS BIENNALE 2018 and must rent a booth or a half-booth in the exhibition room.

- Transportation fees, accommodation and per diems: The artists selected for a showcase are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation as well as for inquiring about any government funding available to them.
